Terms & Conditions
The heart of Atheneum’s compliance policy is Atheneum’s Terms & Conditions which set forth the principles and rules by which every expert is contractually obligated to abide. They are designed to ensure that every service provided by Atheneum and its experts is fully compliant with all applicable laws rules and regulations and poses no conflicts of interest.
Atheneum’s Terms & Conditions set forth the below broad compliance principles that govern all consultations:
- Conflict of Interest: Per compliance policies, experts are required to disclose any conflicts of interest that may arise between an expert’s membership and participation in Atheneum Projects.
- Confidentiality: Experts agree to respect the confidentiality of all client agreements. All information discussed during client-expert interactions and client identity is to remain confidential unless explicit consent is granted.
- External Obligations: Our terms and conditions require experts to respect any external obligations they have towards third parties and to seek consent if necessary.
- Audit trailing: Relevant compliance officers may request reports about discussions that take place between experts and clients that include information about the expert’s profile and background.

Non-Disclosure & Confidentiality
The Atheneum team strictly abides by a non-disclosure agreement whereby all members agree not to disclose or attempt to use any confidential information provided by clients and experts. The Atheneum team participates in regular training that reinforces Atheneum’s compliance policies and procedural regulations.
