Carlos Jerez-Hanckes, PhD.

Managing Partner and Head of Latin America

is currently a professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and received a postdoctoral fellowship at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Zürich, Switzerland. He previously worked as a Corporate Finance Analyst for Celfin Capital (BTG Pactual), a leading Latin American investment bank, and conducted research projects on the development of novel technologies in aerospace and telecommunication companies, such as Thales (France) and Epcos (Germany). Carlos earned a doctorate and master’s degree in Applied Mathematics at Ecole Polytechnique in France, as well as a master’s and bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Electrical Engineering at Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
